Not for me ... and you missed my point completely.
If you pick a point that's central to EVERYONE then you end up
somewhere near Liberal, KS. What I was suggesting (and the other
folks understood) was that if you want to do a ride, pick a place and
do it. If you try to accommodate everyone you will find yourself way
off the original mark.
If it's to be a ride then pick a spot, pick a campground and a date.
If you are the only one there then have a great time. If there's three
people there then so much the better. It's not about pleasing and
accommodating everyone, it's doing something fun and leaving an open
invitation out to those that might be able to make it.
Frankly, I think any one of the great roads down that way (like the
Dragon but maybe not so busy a place) would be awesome. To me, the
best part about any Sportster gathering is just catching up with
people around a campfire.
Okay ... MAKING the campfire is fin too. :-)
