Christmas morning brought me the cup holder I've wanted. From my Mom,
along with a cute story.

I am 60, she is 84. So she goes to the HD dealer (2 blocks from her house)
and is wandering around the showroom. Check'n the bikes, admiring the
paint jobs, and thinking back to when they were first married and my Dad
had an Indian Chief.

So up comes a salesman and asks if he can help her. She says she's looking
for a cup holder and he asks what kind of bike. She had just looked at the
Sporties, and saw one painted like mine, so she points and say's "Just like
that".

He takes her to the chrome wall, and helps her find one. He then asks "How
long you been riding?" Well she's pretty sharp and decides to have some
fun. "Well young man I first rode on a motorcycle in 1942. It was an
Indian Chief and my husband and I had a lot of fun on it, but I haven't
ridden in a couple of years." (True because she had gone for a 2 block
ride on the back of my Sporty) So he asks what kind of bike she road
lately and she said "A Sportster just like that one", pointing at the one
she had seen.

She paid for the cup holder and was leaving when she saw him talking to
some of the other sales people and pointing at her. She said he seemed to
be all excited about the senior rider who just left.
