Try one more thing first. Unplug the VOES. Really
simple. It will be stuck in the more retarded
position. Then ride till its hot and see what happens
to the pinging.
Not sure what this will tell you, perhaps an
adjustement may be in order, but I tried it and there
was absolutely no pinging whatsoever. It had poor
acceleration, but it was nice not to hear that
irritating noise.
