I am doing a t-storm conversion on my 2000 xl (7500 miles). I don't know
how much the stock studs typically stretch. Should I replace them? Should
I use the screamin eagle high tensile cylinder stud kit?

Also, I wasn't able to find this in the service manual or in the archives.
What's the procedure for replacing cylinder studs? Is it as easy as
cleaning out the holes and screwing the new studs in? Is thread
locking/sealing required/recommended?

Thanks,
Jim
