Mike Says,
>>>
Austenitic stainless steel(300 series) in the virgin state has low tensile
strength(40000) and can't be heat treated to get higher tensile strengths.
But my work hardening, very high tensile strengths can be obtained; 200000
to 300000 tensile.
I am looking for a ironhead engine fastener kit made up with these
fasteners.
>>>

Do you really want to use stainless bolt in your aluminum engine case?
Someone on the list may know better than I do. You may get more galvanic
reaction stainless to aluminum than to steel.

MERRY CHRISTMAS

Drose
