I can't believe that I have been sucked into the waving thread. I would like
to mention an observation that I made this past summer. I rode my scoot to a
HD shop about 30 miles west of my hometown, to purchase a helmet at the
wife's request. On the way over I had about 15 - 20 riders wave to me. When I
left the shop to head home, I wore the helmet because it was much easier than
carrying it, and I have only 3 people wave. Not sure what that means, but I
found it interesting.
