I believe that they also make full covers for their 412 shocks.
These are chrome and appear to cover the entire shock including
the spring.
I'm at work, so I don't have it in front of me, but I'm pretty sure
that I saw these in the Dennis Kirk catalog. I think you could
also order the covers separately and retrofit them onto your
regular 412 shocks.
