RE: solo seatFrom: Ken McIntosh <mac11b@hotmail.com> Next Article (by Date): RE: solo seat Ken McIntosh As a yet unverrified Iron Butt rider I have the Corbin Gunslinger. It is very nearly a solo seat. There is a pad that extends on a downward angle from the seat that a passenger could use but I would not put anyone back there I liked. It is more for style as mine has red flames. Now, would I recomend it? Yes. But not for iron but riding. I am 5' 9" 285# and I have buckhorn handle bars, no risers or pull back on my '94 883. I find the seat to be too narrow to fit both hip bones on evenly and I find I am wanting to sit further back more than 1/2 the time. It was a vast improvement over the stock a$$ grinder though and I have put over 10K mi. on the Corbin. I did a 1K/24hr run on it and a 1700 mi. 4 day ride on it aside from other trips and the daily commute. I like it, but I will be moving on in the next year to a Mustang vintage wide solo as I have heard those are the cat's a$$ for a wider but like mine. I have also heard great things about the sundowner you have and the price point is nice, but the loss of storage space with the passenger pad is what kept me away from it.
