I always refer people to Corbin, it's what I have. Their seats ARE more expensive but well built with good materials. You'd probably have to spend around $200-250 for their solo saddle and then ride it about 1,500+ miles to get it broken in. You may be able to find it "on sale" at one of the distributors this winter. Unfortunately the break-in will stay take about 1,500+ miles. I've ridden up to 835 miles in a day and never got a numb butt. Most people that claim to have ridden a distance have never gotten close to 835 miles. I was on my way to 1,080 miles and an Iron Butt qualifier but ran out of daylight and into rain, hail and high wind in an August thunderstorm. I learned that to make a trip like that you have travel around June 21st and be riding east to west if you want the best possible riding conditions. Mike - 2000 883C - Tax Paid, and then some...
