RE: Seat pads or Air Cushions. From: "Paul" <pcas1986@bigpond.net.au> Next Article (by Date): RE: Front Brakes Chris Brewer Richard (Old School) said >>I do agree the being able to change foot positions is key.The guy that designed the sporty mid controlls >>obviously never rode one. They need to be 4 inches further forward or 6 inches further back(IMHO). My Sporty mid controls were great for me because I like to stand a little as part of my leg stretch routine. That probably goes back to my dirt bike riding days. Highway pegs are really great for stretching as well but I also dangle my legs. Though that tends to wear out my boots when they drag on the ground at 100kph ;o) Mike, I think, gave a good essay on seats but it's all a personal thing. If the seat is too wide then it may cramp your thighs. Too thin and it may have not enough support. The type of handlebars also affects your posture and it all counts. As said several times the best is to stop and take a stretch every couple of hours. I have a lamb's wool seat which helps but it's not the total solution. I see more lamb's wool seat covers than Air Hawks here. Paul in Oz Next Article (by Date): RE: Front Brakes Chris Brewer |
