Gained quite a bit since I went from a 2.25 gal to a 4.2 gal. The most I was
ever able to pour into my old 2.25 was just under 2 gal, and that was after
having tapped reserve and coasting to a stop at a fuel station.  The old
tank had a neck in the tank that the gas cap screwed down into I suspect
limited the amount of sloshing and thusly spillage out the vented cap.  If I
did fill her up all the way and the parked it I would get fuel loss out a
drain tube.  The new tank does not have the neck in the tank so I suspect I
will have to either not take off like a B.O.H. on a full tank, or work out
the appropriate fill level to prevent the problem.  Maybe there is some kind
of insert or something out there.  Like most, the bike is a work in
progress.
