I made a big mistake! When I put my 2000 Sportster 883 back together after
a facelift which included relocating the rear brake reservoir and hoses, I
used DOT 4 brake fluid. Will the DOT 4 fluid actually degrade the rubber
parts of the system, or can I get away with removing the DOT 4 and replacing
it with DOT 5?
