ProTac makes a great backrest for Sportsters but when you change from the
stock seat the width variation can cause a problem. (They make different
models for the change-over years )I had to remove my backrest when I went
w/the wider passenger portion of The Sundowner (?) I think that was the model
I went with. I'm fortunate in that the only time my back would act up would be
on an arduously long trip in which case I'd have an over-stuffed bag to lean
on.(Careful, Dave,Don't say anything stupid here)
