I've done it a few times without V-Twin (aka tiawan ted) parts. I used genuine
HD stuff that I bought online that were gleaned from a lot of searching.

Some of the import garbage V-Twin sells is usable from what I've been told,
but all I ever saw was junk. And high dollar at that.
