With the HD adjustable road pegs, it was strictly poor design. The things
weighed about ten pounds and were mounted with one screw through the motor
mount. That much shit vibrating in the wind is a sure formula for fatigue. If
the two sides had been tied together with a turnbuckle like cross rod, it
might have worked. I never used them that much so I just threw them in the
spare parts pile.
