After my 1966 Triumph 650 sat idle for 2+ years, yesterday I put a gallon of
fresh gas in the tank, tickled the carbs, and it started on the first kick.
I had meant to drain the bowls but forgot to, it started anyway. When I did
drain the bowls, some really evil looking swill came out for a few seconds.
Must have been flammable though. After timing the Boyer ignition system
correctly, it runs like a champ. I was going to use ether but then realized
I didn't have a can of it. Being too lazy to run to NAPA, I tried kicking
it. It kicked me back but did start.
