RE: Back AcheFrom: Mcostello70@aol.com Mcostello70@aol.com Next Article (by Author): RE: Bach Ache Mcostello70@aol.com Chip and all listers, Yes it is tough when you get older. The aches and pains are plenty. I KNOW! Now my 2 cents on the topic. The Olympics recently ended. Everyone knows that all the athletes that competed just did not suddenly decide to jump in skiing, skating or what ever. They practiced and worked all the muscle groups for their sport. I believe that riding a motorcycle is much like participating in a sport. After a long winter or many years of not riding you can't just jump on and expect to be at your best. Especially on a long ride. I believe it would help to do some strengthening exercises. Yeah, I know, back to basic training again! Remember gym class? Maybe even lose a little of that keg sitting on the gut. I've done the above and it has helped. Not a complete cure, but enough of a difference to help my riding. For some back support how about using a back brace or a weight lifter's belt? Has anyone tried one of these? The best to you, Mike C. If you come to a fork in the road take it.
