One more item on batteries. If it tends to be hard starting cold like a
battery not having enough umph, also check the condition of the battery cables
before you rush out and get a new battery. The positive cable is known to
corrode under the insulation at the starter. The negative cable can do the
same but tends to not be tight where it attaches to the frame. The cables can
also be loose at the battery and cause the same symptoms.



Check the easy stuff before you fork over some money on a new battery.
